EVOLUTION G4 series

SR 2000 series

SR 2000 IEM series has been designed for professional touring, broadcast, and theatre application. Network remote control and a capability of using up to thirty-two compatible presets ensure the system can be utilised where more demanding usage is required.

SR 2050 IEM Transmitter - Rackmount

Sennheiser SR 2050 IEM is a 2-channel transmitter in a 1U 19-inch rackmount housing. It offers a 75MHz switching bandwidth that gives a choice of 3000 selectable frequencies (if location allows) within a UHF frequency range of either 606-678MHz (channel 38 ready). Of the 26 channel banks available, six are freely programmable, with up to 32 tunable channels in each in steps of 25kHz. The radio frequency (RF) output power is switchable at 10mW, 30mW, and 50mW levels. The transmitter may be connected to an Ethernet network for configuration of multi-channel systems using Sennheiser Wireless System Manager (WSM) software for PC.

The front facing panel duplicates all controls and displays for each of the two channels. A two-colour, backlit display give the user clear indication of AF and RF levels, frequency, channel name, output level, and channel. A rotary job wheel is positioned to the right of the display for easy navigation of menus and setup changes. Finally, an illuminated sync button enables the user to quickly link the transmitter to a compatible receiver such as the EK 2000 IEM. A 32ohm, 6.3mm jack headphone output with adjustable rotary volume controller allows for local signal monitoring. Each of the two transmitting channels has an independent and illuminated power/escape button.

The rear facing panel of the transmitter has a single IEC mains power input and cable grip. All other connections are duplicated across the two channels. These include dual (left and right) XLR/jack combination connectors for audio input, left and right 6.3mm jack audio loop outputs, RF output BNC connector, and RJ45 Ethernet connector.

Included accessories: Mains AC cable, 2x rod antenna, instruction manual, 4x device feet.

Frequency range: 606 – 678MHz, UK compatible. Modulation: FM, MPX-stereo. Signal to noise ratio: Greater than 90dB, A weighted. Compander: HDX. Peak deviation: +/-48kHz. Nominal deviation: +/-24kHz. Frequency response: 25Hz – 15kHz. Dimensions (WxDxH): 436 x 215 x 43mm. Weight: 2.9kg.

EK 2000 IEM Receiver - Beltpack

Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM in-ear monitor receiver utilises Adaptive Diversity Technology which employs the cable from connected earphones as a secondary antenna to reduce chance of dropout.

The bodypack receiver can be powered by optional Sennheiser BA 2015 battery pack, or two AA alkaline battery cells to give 4-6 hours operation. The battery/s are put in situ behind a locking door, which in turn is positioned below a display and navigation buttons. The display shows the battery life remaining, with three bars illustrating 100% remaining, two bars illustrating 70% remaining, and a single bar illustrating 30% remaining. A red LED flashes when the battery is low. The display also shows valuable information including frequency, channel, name, mute status, RF and AF levels. A further LED signifies RF frequency reception. The menu can be navigated via two buttons located on the front facing panel. A 3.5mm headphone output is associated with a rotary headphone volume controller. The rear facing side of the receiver has a removable metal belt clamp.

Frequency response: 25Hz – 15kHz. Modulation: FM, MPX-stereo. Signal to noise ratio: Greater than 90dB, A weighted. Audio output power: 100mW, 32ohm. Squelch threshold: off, 5 to 25dBuV in 2dB steps. Dimensions (HxWxD): 82 x 64 x 24mm. Weight: 200g
