XSW IEM series

EVOLUTION G4 series

Sennheiser Evolution G4 IEM system is intended for those wanting to monitor stereo audio signals in professional applications such as stage or broadcasting. This range consists of a static transmitter and belt pack diversity receiver.

With the capability of using up to sixteen compatible frequencies and up to 42MHz bandwidth with multiple units, the G4 series of in-ear monitoring systems offers a choice of 1680 selectable frequencies (if location allows) within a UHF frequency range of either 606-648MHz (channel 38 ready) or 823-865MHz (channel 69/70 ready) depending on the model selected.

A HDX compander is used to increase dynamic range, pilot-tone squelch avoids RF interference when the transmitter is turned off. Easy set-up uses the receiver to perform an automatic frequency scan to search for available frequencies. Settings may be transferred between the receiver and transmitter in either direction using infra-red communication. The transmitter may be connected to an Ethernet network for configuration of multi-channel systems using software.

Transmitter and receiver are available separately or together as a complete system.

SR IEM G4 Transmitter - Fixed

The SR300 is a stereo transmitter, which can operate in mono, fed from the left audio input socket, powered by 12V DC from an included adapter. The metal half-rack, case can be rack-mounted with the included GA 3 rack mount kit.

The grey coloured front panel has a 6.35mm headphone socket, for local monitoring, with an associated volume control. A 'sync' button is used to transfer settings to a receiver, an 'ESC' button helps with menu navigation. An OLED display shows current frequency and bank, channel ID, AF level, transmission status, transmission power, equalizer setting, and input sensitivity. An auto-lock feature prevents unauthorised or accidental tampering. A jog wheel with push-button allows the user to edit any applicable settings within the menu. Sennheiser WSM control software, which may be downloaded, can be linked via an Ethernet network and compatible computer to give an overview of monitoring and data management for multi-channel systems.

The rear facing panel offers a BNC connection for aerial connection, an RJ45 connector to connect to a network and DC 12V/350mA power supply input. Two combination jack and XLR connectors provide balanced, line-level audio inputs; two 3-pole jack sockets provide loop-out connections to connect to other equipment.

Included accessories: GA 3 rack-mounting adapter, rod antenna, NT2-3 PSU, user manual and guides.

Audio input: +22 dBu maximum. Frequency response: 25Hz - 15kHz. Distortion: Less than 0.9% THD. Noise: Better than 90dBA. Modulation: Wideband FM stereo, MPX pilot tone. Power supply: 12V DC. Maximum power consumption: 350mA. Dimensions: 202 x 212 x 43 (DxWxH) mm. Weight: 980g.

EK IEM G4 Receiver - Belt pack

The EK 300 body pack receiver is designed to work with the SR IEM 300 transmitter to provide wireless audio monitoring to professionals requiring discreet and portable solution. A locking, 3.5mm, stereo jack socket can be used to connect the included IE 4 ear buds or other compatible earphones. Also positioned on the top of the belt pack receiver is a combined on/off and rotary volume control as well as a 120mm whip antenna.

The front of the pack has a backlit LC display, offering menu navigation and information such as RF signal levels, squelch threshold, transmitter modulation levels for the two audio channels, current transmission frequency, the name of the receiver, lock-mode status, battery status, mute status and whether the pilot tone is activated. An 'auto-lock function' avoids accidental changing of settings. LEDs indicate battery status and RF signal indication. The front folds down to reveal the battery compartment for 2x AA cells or a BA 2015 accupak rechargeable battery pack and the 'set' and 'escape' buttons. On the rear there is a removable metal belt-clip.

Included accessories: 1x IE 4 earphones, 2x AA cells, user manual and guides.
