GLENSOUND AUDIO INTERFACES - Dante/Ravenna

A range of analogue/AES3 to Dante/AES67 and Dante/AES67 to analogue/AES3 interfaces from Glensound. These interfaces are designed to be used in broadcast audio and recording studios whereby a reliable and high quality end product is required. The AES3 interfaces have been designed for use in outside broadcast, theatre, and location applications, where interfacing between AES3 and Dante/AES67 is required.

AoIP2M - 2x Microphone to Dante

AoIP22u - 2x RCA (phono) I/O to Dante

AoIP22 MKII - 2x Analogue I/O to Dante

AoIP22M - 2x Analogue I/O to Dante, with mic preamp and HPF

AoIP22 AES3 - 1x AES3 I/O to Dante

AoIP4I - 4x Analogue inputs to Dante

Glensound AoIP4I has been designed for outside broadcast, theatre and location applications. It provides four balanced analogue audio inputs to a Dante/AES67 audio network, and has a small but rugged format. Powered by PoE the device only requires a single cable connected to the network to carry both audio and power, providing flexibility and saving time on installation.

An industry standard barrel connector is used for powering the AoIP units from an external 12V DC power source, whilst when both PoE and DC power sources are connected then power supply redundancy is automatically enabled, meaning that either one of the power sources can be lost and the AoIP unit will continue working. A blue LED positioned on the rear facing panel indicates that the device is turned on.

Audio: Frequency response: 20Hz to 22kHz, +/- 0.25dB. Maximum input before clip: +18dBu. Maximum output level: +18dBu. Input impedance: Greater than 20kOhms. Output impedance: 50 Ohms. Distortion: 0.0013% THD+N, at 1kHz reference to +18dBu output. Noise (analogue I/O): -92dBu, at 0dBu. Dynamic range: 108dBs. Crosstalk (0dBu input to output 1kHz tone): -135dBu. Output Type: Electronically balanced (can be wired unbalanced) on Neutrik 3-pin XLR socket. Input Type: Electronically balanced (can be wired unbalanced) on Neutrik 3-pin XLR plug. Digital full scale: +18dBu = 0dBFs.

Network audio: Compatible audio networks: Dante, uncompressed, low latency audio; AES67. Connector: Neutrik EtherCON. Dante network sample rate: 44.1/48k, 4-channel; 88.2/96k, 2-channel. Resolution: Up to 24 Bit. AES67 network sample rate: 48k. Ethernet interface: 100BASE-TX. Chipset: Ultimo UXT-01-004 (Note: Audinate recommends no more than 10 Ultimo chipsets on one network UNLESS another Dante device such as the Brooklyn is present).

Dimensions (WxDxH): 153 x 105 x 41mm. Weight: 420g.

Optional SFP Modules

Dante/SFPS is a single-mode module and Dante/SFPM is multi-mode. Dante/SFP1 and Dante/SFP2 are for use over distances up to 10km and are WDM (wavelength-division multiplexing) types, a multiplexing technology which can be used to enable bi-directional communication over a single fibre. Dante/SFP1 should be used in a pair with SFP2 Dante breakout boxes: See Dante interfaces.
